UNESCO: Production of Short Video Adverts for O3 Plus Mobile Applications

The UNESCO O3 PLUS project aims to ensure that young people in higher and tertiary education institutions realize positive health, education, and gender equality outcomes. With support from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and other partners, the project has expanded to multiple countries in the Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) region, including Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, and others. As part of this initiative, UNESCO is seeking to develop promotional videos for the O3 PLUS mobile apps, aimed at empowering young people with access to sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) information and services.

Project Scope

As a creative team, we offer a wide range of 2D animation and motion graphics services to enhance engagement and capture the attention of the youth demographic. Our services include conceptualising, designing, and producing visually attractive and engaging content that is tailored specifically to the targeted audience’s tastes and preferences.

Project Objectives

The main goal of this project is to utilise 2D animation and motion graphics to effectively reach and engage with the younger generation. We aim to create content that captivates the target audience through visually compelling storytelling and dynamic motion graphics. By doing so, we hope to increase awareness, interest, and engagement with the provided content.

Key Deliverables:

  1. Concept Development

Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop creative concepts that align with project objectives and target audience preferences.

  1. Storyboarding

We will design detailed storyboards to visually outline the narrative and flow of each animation sequence.

  1. Animation Production

We will bring concepts and storyboards to life using 2D animation techniques, incorporating dynamic motion graphics to enhance engagement.

  1. Visual Design

We will create captivating graphics, characters, and environments that resonate with young audiences.

  1. Sound Design

We will collaborate with the audio production team to incorporate sound effects and music that complement and enrich the visual experience.

  1. Quality Assurance

We will conduct comprehensive reviews and make necessary revisions to ensure the highest quality and consistency across all deliverables.

  1. Final Delivery

We will deliver animation files in the required formats ready for integration.

SuperFert | CAN Campaign

We created a 75-second character animation based advertisement featuring two farmers discussing the benefits of Superfert’s CAN fertilizer over AN fertilizer. The advert emphasised how CAN uses less fertilizer while delivering better yields, ultimately saving farmers money.

Create an engaging animated TV advert to illustrate Bereka Delivery’s cash delivery service in partnership with Mukuru Remit. The video should clearly demonstrate how Bereka Delivery delivers cash from Mukuru to clients in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner.

Sunhak Peace Prize

We used 2D motion graphics to inform viewers about the concept of fair vaccine distribution worldwide. Our entry managed to make it to the top ten finalists and we finished the competition as runner ups.

EcoCash TV Ad

We wanted to create a humorous and engaging 30sec animated TV ad to show how customers can purchase ZESA tokens using EcoCash’s USSD feature. We used high-quality animation and a humorous narrative to illustrate the simplicity of purchasing ZESA tokens. The advert featured relatable scenarios aligned to electricity usage, emphasising convenience and ease of use.

Project Timeline and Risks:

The proposed project timeline is 5 weeks, although it may extend to six weeks due to unforeseen circumstances.

Risks include potential issues such as render times, machine malfunctions, and other force majeure events, which could extend the project timeline by approximately one week.

Additionally, poor communication between the client and suppliers could lead to delays in the project timeline, necessitating an extra week for resolution.
